We offer a number of different accommodation options suitable to different travellers. Couples will love our signature bungalows individually set beside the lagoon, nestled within the rainforest or on the sand overlooking the beach. Pandanus Romantic Bungalows - These offer the romantic holiday accommodation for newlyweds, loving couples and honeymooners.
The bungalows are spacious and tastefully appointed with modern furniture and art. Snuggle up in the large, comfortable king size bed with luxury bed linen, and enjoy a quiet glass of bubbly on your private balcony nestled in the rainforest. Timara Plantation Suite - Kewarra Beach Resort, Cairns, has a private guest suite named Timara. In Aboriginal folk lore Timara is the home of the guardian spirit. Timara is a superbly restored pioneer cottage built in the early 1900s from hand cut cedar from the Daintree Rainforest. The cottage was brought from Daintree Village, 70 miles north of Cairns, to a promontory of the Resort's freshwater lagoon where its private gardens are surrounded by water on three sides.
The lagoon is a sanctuary for birds and fish and a timber footbridge across it links Timara to the rest of the Resort facilities. The cottage has two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living room and 3 meter wide verandas. Furnished to match its era with handcrafted pieces made by local carpenters.
