Delderfield is 5 star luxury getaway accommodation in Marysville for discerning couples looking for romance, a beautiful haven to celebrate a special occasion, or just somewhere to escape for some tranquil time together.

Delderfield combines quality and service, with private self contained accommodation, but still retains warm personal hospitality from hosts Jacqui and Ian.

Two, open plan studio style suites enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding Mystic Mountains and are nestled in two acres of gorgeous, lush green landscaped gardens.

Studios are modern, luxuriously furnished and equipped, whilst retaining a cosy and comfortable ambience.

Delderfield is just a short stroll from the sub alpine village of Marysville with its charming streetscape, gift shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.

Marysville is a pleasant 95 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD though the Yarra Valley and the iconic Mountain Ash forests of the Black Spur and only 20 minutes from the summit of Lake Mountain, the nearest snow fields to Melbourne.

Guests often arrive tired and stressed as a result of their hectic lives, but leave relaxed and rejuvenated, having surrendered to the spell of Delderfield.

About our suites

Two detached and private studio style suites, Havelock and Cavendish are spacious and sunny with large courtyard doors out onto covered, private verandahs which overlook two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and beyond onto the surrounding Mystic Mountains.

Positioned to capture the sun rising over the surrounding mountains in the morning, the verandahs become cool and relaxing havens to sip your pre-dinner drinks or cook your BBQ in the late afternoon or evening.

Deep double spas, with fabulous views by day and candles by night are a decadent way to soak away the tensions of modern life.

King size beds and large comfortable sofas in front of real wood fires are a tempting way to relax and while away the hours with that special person in your life.

Both suites have the same amenities but slightly different décor. However, both are luxurious and decorated in soft neutral tones.

Studios stand separately on our two acre property and are totally private from each other and the residence. Privacy and discretion are guaranteed.

The Experience

Everyone is looking for something different from a short getaway. Some of our guests arrive and don’t leave until check-out, some only venture out for dinners. Others explore the regions and take in as many of the local sights and sounds as possible.

Here are some suggestions to help you plan your stay :-

• Arrive and not venture out – relax, read a book, soak in the spa and enjoy the lush green countryside.
• Sit on your verandah by night and enjoy bright twinkling stars and the call of frogs.
• Read the paper all morning in bed, watch a DVD, sleep.
• Have an in-house massage or treatment.
• Feed and enjoy our native birds.

	• Fishing – why not catch a fish in one of the rivers or go to the local trout farm (catch guaranteed) and bring it back to cook it on the BBQ (we have recipes). • Horse riding at Rubicon Valley Horse Adventures. • Walking is a pleasant pastime in the region.
